BLOG: "STANDING IN JESUS" Equipped to Fight with the Spiritual Armor of God

Welcome

Allies, Families & Friends

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19

I spoke with a few friends and discussed slander and its cousin gossip! It's a sneaky attack. You don't see it coming! Slander will spark a fire, and gossip will spread the fire. Keep the whole spiritual Armor of God on; so we can see; how not to be led into destruction because of a mean spirit that kills with its tongue.

Encourage, Praise, Worship, Edify Our Brothers and Sisters with Our Tongue and Glorify GOD.

Sometimes we tend to vindicate ourselves, and I have learned to be quiet, let God defend me, and become comfortable not sharing my side of the story. Gossip has a poisonous power; it is one of the devils' strategies to divide relationships and derail the assignments God has given to us. Don't be fooled; stand on the post, on guard, with our sensitivity heightened! We will not slander or unjustly devalue another person's reputation. God knows all about it, and He will hold us accountable!

Slander is cowardly. I want to gain sympathetic behavior without going directly to the person that is the target of such demonic weights. Are you geared up? Yes, we can't allow ourselves to stumble over those satanic blocks. Jesus suffered and died for our sins. All Christians and people will suffer; we go through trials and tribulations with God as Christians. Sometimes we forget to wear our armor, even in the church. God calls us to be still. The Lord will fight for us; we must only be still. Gd assures us that He will never leave or forsake us; He's more than the whole world against us. God also gives specific instructions in His Word to put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against the devil's wiles (Devious Schemes).

This topic has come up many times. I wanted to write about it and hopefully encourage someone being bullied with such hateful and destructive behavior and encourage someone under attack from this loveless action. Don't become fainthearted stand with courage. We all must keep our old nature under subjection, such as idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, slander, gossip, lies, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissension, envy, drunkenness, carousing, striking, and touching. The devil hates unity! We need to keep our armor on and fight for the church; we are the church, which means we're fighting for each other to prosper, be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly and sisterly love, kindhearted, and humble in spirit.

When we realize we're not fighting our sister or our brother; we will put on the spiritual armor of God and battle as Jesus did at the cross, forgive them; they don't know what they're doing; when we walk with God, we walk in unity and love. Not going out of our way not to speak, lie, slander, reject, or mistreat the body of Christ. With Jesus, we're in good company; Jesus endured such hate first! Refrain from confrontation and count it all joy. We can't do it in our strength, only in the power and might of our Lord. Don't fold when you should be standing up for Christ because the attacks are not about you but the one inside you. The devil wants to silence you and dim your light; he is a liar.

Don't be deceived. Please put on your spiritual armor so we can withstand all the evil and, having done all, stand! Remember, the devil is highly trained; he will fight savagely. Know your enemy! Know without a doubt that with our Lord and Savior, we are well equipped with our powerful spiritual army to conquer and defeat all the tricks and lies of the devil. W are Soldiers for Christ,' and we must be armed and ready with the whole armor of God. So, the Bible tells us in.

(Ephesians 6:10-13) 10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against the devil's wiles. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Still, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Paul says we have the ammunition to overcome the devils' schemes because God's whole armor must be in place, and the victory will be ours.
